Black Queen - Meet the Incredible Queens of Africa!
A Fun Journey Through History for Our Little Royalty
Hey there, young kings and queens! Did you know that Africa had some of the most powerful and amazing queens in history? Let's meet some of these incredible royal ladies who ruled their kingdoms with strength and wisdom!
Queen Nzinga: The Chess Master Queen
Imagine a queen so clever she turned a simple meeting into a legendary story! When foreign visitors didn't give her a chair (how rude!), she had her servant create a human throne. Now that's what we call thinking like a queen! Queen Nzinga protected her people in Angola for over 40 years. She was brave, smart, and never gave up!
Queen Yaa Asantewaa: The Warrior Grandma
This amazing grandmother led an entire army! When people tried to take her kingdom's golden stool (a super special throne), she said "Not today!" She inspired all the women in her kingdom to stand up and be brave. Talk about a super-cool grandma, right?
Queen Makeda (The Queen of Sheba)
Have you ever heard of the Queen of Sheba? She was so wise that people say even King Solomon wanted to learn from her! She ruled over beautiful lands (now called Ethiopia) and was known for being super smart and making great decisions for her people.
